Documentation - Design | |
This documentation is primarily for developers. If you are a user, it is
suggested that you refer to the Modules section. Each module operates
much like a traditional application. The documentation for these modules
include a description, an installation guide, and a getting started
tutorial.
If you are new to developing with Chorus, you should probably start off with
the high-level design document, http documentation, and distributed hash table
interface. These are of primary interest for application writing.
If you plan on implementing new protocols, the Protocol design is a must
first read. For end-point protocols and layered protocols you should at
least read the respective documents. However, you should probably read both
and the implementation of a small protocol such as
tcp
or
length-coded.
